1. Fixed Drive Motor |
Fixed Servo drive removes the traverse drive motor away from the cutting environment. Why move the motor when it's the Torch (cutting) assembly doing the work. Expect fewer breakdowns for this axis because its not being subjected to the direct dust and heat of the cutting atmosphere.
|
2. Tighter Grouping / Motion |
Fixed Servo drive allows for tighter grouping of torch assemblies while enabling the main gantry beam to be shorter in length while still giving wider cutting with multiple torch assemblies. Rockwell 60c hardened linear "V" rails with sealed "V" bearings allows chatter free motion for the traverse axis.

3. Positioning / Mirroring / Cable Drive |
Featuring easy-to-operate front (Positioning) and rear (Mirroring) locks for fast operator control. Cable drive allows Mirroring capabilities but unlike steel mirror bands the stainless steel aircraft cable is 100 times stronger against breakage, easer to replace, easer to find locally and usually 10 times cheaper.
4. Independent Encoder |
Independent Encoders gives the most accurate Positioning on the market for Shape Cutting Machines. Why should the accuracy of the machine be dependant on the condition of the drive pinion gear. This is the case when the encoder is mounted in the drive motor. As the drive pinion gear wears, so does the accuracy of the machine. Don't wonder where the machine went...Know where the machine is going. This alone is why DACC takes the extra steps to use independent encoders giving the end user the most accurate and repeatable shape cutting machine possible.
